Your Massage Appointment During the Covid-19 Pandemic
Carrie Allen and Agi Borris will be following recommendations compiled by the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals, which were developed from the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.
Thank you in advance for booking a massage and being willing to participate in this new “normal”. We look so forward to being back in the massage room with you!
1.You are to wait in your car until you receive a text with confirmation that it’s time to enter the office. The waiting room will not be utilized at this time. 2.No hugging or shaking hands. 3.Please wear a face mask. If you do not have one, we can provide one for you. If possible, you will wear the mask while in a face-up position during the massage. We will be wearing PPE throughout your visit. 4.You will sign a waiver stating you give consent to receive bodywork. 5.The pre-session consultation will be brief. Please share physical areas you want emphasized in your customized massage. Casual conversation should be kept at a minimum during your treatment. 6.The face, head and neck portion of your massage may be modified and will be discussed prior to the massage. Otherwise, the hands-on portion of the massage will essentially be the same. 7.The check-out procedure will occur in the massage room and we will wear disposable gloves for all cash/credit card/check exchanges. 8.The massage room and bathroom will be fully sanitized between every client using an effective germicide on all surfaces. Massage linens and equipment will be properly sanitized. 9.Thieves oil will be used in a diffuser in the office, which has a 99% effectiveness on killing airborne bacteria. If you are sensitive to aromas, we will turn it off during your visit.
