I have been an RN for over 40 years and a Reiki practitioner for 10 years. I have obtained the Master level in the Usui and Karuna Schools of Reiki as well as coursework in Crystal Healing. Being a cancer survivor myself, I am drawn to caring for clients who are coping with life-threatening challenges.

My first career was in computer science, but after dealing with breast cancer I had a desire to find a different way of life and health. I now have a Masters Degree of Acupuncture from the Tai-Sophia Institute in Laurel Maryland. I have completed approximately 3000 hours of classroom and clinical study in classical acupuncture. I continue to attend classes with the Acupuncture Masters of our time to find ways to serve you better. I work with many styles of acupuncture including Five Element, TCM, Master Tung, Dr. Tan, Microcurrent, Color light therapy, Laser and others in order to best serve your particular needs.

I trained at the Massage Institute of New England in Boston, Massachusetts and am nationally certified with the NCBTMB since1992. I have performed therapeutic massage for over two decades with thousands of hours of experience in physical therapy clinics, chiropractic centers and spas. I have worked around the United States and in Bermuda. I have been licensed with the Virginia State Board of Nursing since 1997. I incorporate a variety of techniques and modalities. Each session is customized so that my clients receive the maximum benefit of therapeutic massage.
